17. ## Scope
18. 1. **Parent / child**: a ticket can have a parent (any project). The parent's page lists its children with their
19. states; a child shows its parent. Set/unset via web (logged in; who may: smallest consistent rule — e.g. the
20. author of either ticket or the creator — list it) and API (token).
21. 2. **Blocked by**: a ticket can be blocked by other tickets (any project); shown on both sides. API + web.
22. 3. **Parent state**: a parent whose children are all `confirmed` shows that clearly (e.g. "all children confirmed")
23. — do not auto-confirm (only the creator confirms). Pick the smallest rule and list it.
24. 4. **For the scheduler**: the JSON API exposes `parent`, `children`, `blockedBy`, `blocks` (refs + states) on the
25. ticket and in the list, and the Markdown view shows them.
26. 5. Migration: link the existing ident pieces: ident.worldapi.org#3–#8 are children of ident.worldapi.org#1 — do it
27. only in your tests; the architect sets it live via the API after deploy.
29. ## Rules
30. - Develop in `loreana:/media/STORAGE/projects/tickets.worldapi.org` via `.scratch/dev-m017`, copy back when green.
31. Own ident instance only (mail sink). **Ports 8800–8849 only.**
32. - No git. No `.env` access. Don't touch Byrodin. Don't POST to the live tickets server. Only kill your own PIDs.
33. Clean up headless Chromes. Only open copies of mpackdb stores. Scratch only in the app's `.scratch/`.
34. - Another worker runs the scheduler tests (its own tickets copies) on ports 8750–8799: don't touch those.
35. - If any action is refused by the permission system, don't retry or work around it; report it.
36. - A test is the whole process: real browsers + API; live data survives (no migration step if avoidable); the gate
37. stays green 3× in a row. Screenshots 390/1280 (parent page with children, blocked ticket), look at them.
