13. ## Scope
14. 1. **Strict API**: every POST endpoint rejects unknown fields and missing/empty required fields
15. with 400 and `{error}` naming the field. Wrong types → 400. Extend `tests/browser.mjs` (or an
16. API test file run by it) with these cases.
17. 2. **Local time**: timestamps shown in Europe/Vienna local time (currently UTC). Storage stays
18. epoch ms. Check what hl:time offers; if it cannot do time zones, file it as a Hybriel issue and
19. use the smallest correct workaround (document it).
20. 3. **Import line breaks**: the importer joins hard-wrapped lines into paragraphs; blank line =
21. new paragraph. Rendered summary keeps paragraphs. Existing imported tickets #1–#5: fix their
22. stored summary too (one-off, documented), without changing ids or history.
24. ## The running server
25. It holds LIVE data now (the creator uses it). Before touching storage: copy `storage/` to
26. `.scratch/storage-backup-<timestamp>/`. After your changes restart the dev server on 8350
27. (kill only the PID in `server.pid`, start again with setsid/nohup, update `server.pid`), then
28. verify tickets #1–#10 and their histories are all still there via the API.
30. ## Rules
31. - No git. Only kill PIDs you started or the PID in `server.pid`. Clean up headless Chromes
32. (`--disable-gpu`, GPU is wedged). Scratch in `.scratch/`.
33. - A test is the whole process: real browser + API, observe the result.
34. - Hybriel bugs: don't fix them in the repo; report with repro.
35. - Update the app's `README.md` / `STATUS.md` (concise).
36. - Another worker builds ident in `/media/STORAGE/projects/ident.worldapi.org` at the same time,
37. port 8351 and gate ports — don't touch that folder; your gate keeps using :8352.
